NORTHERN AREA The Northern Area has a great of variety so all styles of riding will find something to entertain them here. Kids and beginners are catered for as well as those who want to experience a top quality terrain park, a powder course. The Northern Area has it all.



Groomer Track
This is ride in a snow tractor that allows children and beginners to acces the Northern Area. This shuttle is free of charge.


GALA Terrain Park
"Fun and Safety" are the key words behind the GALA Terrain Park. It is not just for snowboarders as skiers too are getting in on the enjoyment. No matter what your freestyle preference there will be something for you in the Terrain Parks. All kinds of different objects to jib, a half pipe and a whole array of kickers makes this one of GALA most popular attractions.

Fun for the kids! We now have a fully equipped Kids' Park. We will also be opening a school for kids.

Swan
Freestyle course. 1050m long.
A course where even beginners can enjoy gliding.
Broadway
Intermediate course. 700m long
At the bottom is the GALA Terrain Park area.
Various items can be enjoyed here.

Joanna
Intermediate course. 250m long.
A double flat run with a wonderful view. The Downhill Course starts at the peak of the mountain.
Roman Holiday & Sponge Bob Kids' Park
Beginner course. 500m long
This is a fantastic run for beginners and children to practice on. Along the side of the Buggy lift is a whole series of waves and banks that offer a great new sensation to enjoy. This is also the access point for the link to the Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort.

Super Broadway
Intermediate course. 450m long
This dynamic route diverges from Broadway.
Super Swan
Expert course. 150m long
This is the only place to be the morning after a fresh snowfall. This is GALA's new speciality course. After a big dump this is the place to come to enjoy the amazing powder.
